India asks Bangladesh for land to expand Agartala airport runway

The Agartala airport currently operates on 509 acres of land and sits just along the Bangladesh border.The Tripura govt had already provided 72 acres of land to AAI for construction of its new terminal building, runway and other necessary infrastructure
