The highway slogan “Slow down and Live Longer“is applicable in our day to day Lives. The invention of mobiles phones turning smartphones, social networking, has given us a gift of stress and other lifestyle diseases.

With its emphasis on accuracy, speed and efficiency, life today can crack even the toughest personality. To help survive today’s nerve recking lifestyles, relaxing should be practised. But we need to learn the Art of Relaxing.

The major point of relaxing is doing self-talk. Give at least 15 min to yourself every morning. love yourself and hug yourself.laugh for yourself. It is an excellent way to start your day.

If you drive to work leave a few minutes early so that you reach on time. Take it easy when you get stuck in heavy traffic.what are you going to earn in that time by blaming others or yelling. instead, listen to your favourite music or read a favourite book. Believe me, it works wonders to beat stress.

Eat your meals leisurely without TV or phones and any emotional stress. eating food with people you are close to gives you more benefit. they can be your family or colleagues or even your staff at the workplace.

Dissociate yourself and walk for sometimes daily. Don’t overthink and don’t ever take your worries on your bed. Give your body a chance to slow down.

Talk less and listen more.

Appreciate three people daily and show gratitude to at least one person daily. see the result.
