Share about what you do

I had been teaching at a school in New Delhi before my marriage and then moved to Dalhousie. My husband was running a book store as Hind Kitab Ghar which was a famous store in Dalhousie. I had been joining him during busy hours. I kept on running the store after his death for few years. Now presently doing HR (Human Resources) job with a big consulting firm from USA.

Say something about your beginning

I was born in New Delhi. Had my schooling from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, New Delhi. Did graduation (Hons) from Gargi College. NTT Course from Institute of Vocational Studies, New Delhi. Did B.Ed from Annamalai University. Started teaching at G.M Public School and Manav Bharti school New Delhi.

What have been some of your achievements

Have won hearts of my in-laws family by successfully doing the home chores and helping my husband at his store thus maintained both the fronts simultaneously. All the brothers and sisters of my husband always loved to visit our place in Dalhousie.

The difference you have made to others

By including human values in my students helped them to be generous and helpful to the mankind. In Dalhousie I have been generously donating the books and stationary items to poor and needy students from our book store. Thus many students were able to compete their studies.

What do you want to be acknowledged for

I want to be acknowledge for being a good daughter to my parents, good wife to my husband, a caring daughter-in-law in my husband’s family and woman who is always ready to be helpful to the society and poor needy students.
