DO WE KNOW WHAT WE BREATHE ?

The average person breathes 23,000 times in a day and our body is not designed to protect us from all the harmful components present in the air. When we think about air quality and air pollution, we often overlook the quality of air inside our home, we spend approximately 90% of our time Indoor, either at home, office and other indoor places , we also spend more than 5% of our time in car or travelling in some form.

Air pollutants are mostly invisible, we often think our indoor air quality is better than outdoor, however in general level of indoor air pollutants is 2-5 times higher than outdoor air pollutants. And in some cases exceed more than ten times more than outdoors.

Indoor air pollution is unregulated and in developed countries like India where building construction, industrial activities are in full swing, burning of agricultural  waste after harvesting, according to a recent report by Greenpeace and air visual analysis 22 out of top 30 cities for worst air quality is from India, by understanding this we can imagine the quality of air in our indoors, it can cause many health problems which we never think off and which are mistaken for other illnesses. Allergies, stress, cold, effects of indoor air pollution is both short term(eye irritation and throat infection ) to long term (respiratory problems)

For every human breathe quality air is critical to our health, in our houses we are surrounded by so many Man-made products, most of them are off GAS pollutants, the more energy efficient we are becoming trapping more gases in our houses, to beat all these problems solution is simple bring indoor plants into your house to clean the indoor air ans stay healthy.
